Updated: Imdiscog.com is running out of disk space

Updated: We've reached our goal of $144, and the good news is I've already registered for the new hosting plan and Hasweb has given us 1 free year of hosting (not including domain registration) until next October. At that point, we'll be billed $144 for 3 years. I hope to new content uploaded soon. Stay tuned.

It was bound to happen sooner or later folks. Unless I delete some of your favorite content on the backside of the site, a new hosting package will need to be purchased. If you'd like to see even more content that I've been holding off uploading to the site because of space, please donate using the link below (which will take you to the disclaimer page where you'll click another Paypal link to make the actual donation).

The next package up will cost $144 for a three year term. We'd see a dramatic increase in disk space from 2 gigs to 500 gigs with unlimited bandwith. Meaning, well, no more download limits!

Site maintenance

On Friday, October 9th at 8pm EST, our hosting company will be conducting maintenance on their servers. This will likely affect imdiscog.com, but we have been assured that the downtime should be minimal barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Donating just got easier

Running Imdiscog.com isn't free, and because the site does not receive any financial advertising support, that means I rely on donations to build the site for all you fans. So even if you just want to send a dollar, anything is acceptible. If you're strapped for cash, it's completely okay. All of the content on this site is free for everyone who visits.

Anyway, I've set up a more automated process for donating through Paypal. You no longer have to enter my email address to donate. It's all handled automatically by clicking the link below. Just a technical note regarding the photos section, the 4images software has been updated to version 1.7.7. Should you encounter any issues, please let us know.

The Rose Garden forums are back up

The forums are operational again. I don't know how long they may have been down, but I apologize for any inconvenience.

Search Engine update

The old search engine just wasn't cutting it and has been replaced by Google Custom Search. The results should be 100% better. The search box appears on the right navigation window under the promotional images.

Gallery software update

Search function now working

All issues with the imdiscog.com search engine have been corrected.

Photos registration issues resolved

I've been informed that there have been issues registering for Photos user access. Upon registering, you can upload and download images. It appears that an old graphics template was the cause of the registration issues some of you may have been witnessing. This should be fixed now. If you would like to download images from the Photos section, please click the Photos icon on the left nav bar and then complete that registration process if you do not already have an account.

Finally, please be aware the registration is separate for the following: Message Boards, Photos and Downloads page. I wish there were a simple integration of the three, however there currently is not. Please let me know if you encounter any further issues.

New message boards for Imdiscog.com

Now you can finally chat with other fans here at Imdiscog.com. Just use the left hand navigation button (at the bottom) to take you there. And to help spur on converstation, feel free to post this promotional image around.

Firefox update

For those of you who may be using Firefox, I've corrected a News page issue where images would dissapear behind the Youtube videos.

New features enabled

Beginning today, anyone can anonymously leave comments on any news item on the news page. However, all comments are moderated and will only be added once approved.

Also, a link to this site's newsfeed has been added to the right side navigation of the news page. Should you wish to add Imdiscog.com to your MyYahoo page, or the like, you may now do that.
