Tribute album for the Polaris Project

Update: Anna-Lynn emailed me with a brief update. The tribute album will benefit the Polaris Project - an organization which "combats human trafficking and modern-day slavery." Trespassers William will be recording "Tomorrow on the Runway."

Original Post: 5:51 PM, 1/21/09
Unfortunately, we don't have much to go on yet but according to Trespasssers William's news page an Innocence Mission tribute album is in the works and they are recording a track for the album. As to who's producing it, which bands and artists are participating and which songs they are covering, that remains to be seen.

If you have any news updates, please contact us or post on the forums. Thanks to ManicD for the tip.

Two new compilations

I've come across two more compilations I thought I'd share. Nanas Contemporaneas is "a modern day lullaby cd for adults" as described by the label K Industria Records (Spain) and features "My Love Goes With You". The other is a new release from The Cornerstone Player: volume 071 which features "Love That Boy".

Good Morning 90's

A few weeks ago I stumbled onto Good Morning 90s. It's a Greek vinyl compilation album released in 1990, which contains the track "Black Sheep Wall". Although it was released in 1990, I've added it to the 80's page as it's more associated with the releases there.

More compilations added & a general update

Today I updated the songlist (which is archived here at the site) to include a cover of "Joan" by singer/songwriter Johnny Goudie. If anyone has a copy of this please let me know. I also believe the articles I uploaded maybe a year ago vanished from the site. Those old news articles have been re-added.

Also added today were images of the elusive Japanese release of Glow and an image of the Brazillian release for Now The Day Is Over.

And finally, I added the following compilations to the 1990's and 2000's sections: Hello, Franceska, fRoots No.14, Jane: The Ultimate Fall CD #5, Happiness Tenderness: The Music from Beautiful Angels, So I Got Me One of Them Wiener Dogs, and B.L.A.S.T. Modern Rock Program #10.
