I knew at some point when the web site went live a few years ago that I'd have to upgrade it's parts every so often as technology changes. Well, it's time for a new version.

I don't plan on releasing a beta of the site. When it's ready it will go live. But if there's something you'd like to see changed/added/removed or if you have a comment feel free  to speak up.

Here's a quick list of some of the changes/non-changes i'm working on:

1) the discography will no longer be segmented into years. from herein it will be segmented into release types: albums, singles, compilations, etc. This will require updating old news article links that will become non-working once this switch is made.
2) new graphics
3) navigation menu will become horizontal and have text rollovers instead of graphic buttons.
4) the forum and gallery will likely not change at this time.
5) the downloading user db will likely be wiped again for sercurity purposes. re-registration will be required unless I can figure out how to combine (if at all possible) all three user registration dbs.
6) I'd like to make it easier to find/view IM related videos results from sites such as youtube.
7) the html coding is being cleaned up as best I can to allow for faster loading for slower connections.
8 ) I hope to make PDF versions of the discography available for download as the previous print functions were tedious to maintain and didn't always work well. I've tested the transfer from html-to-PDF and it finally works as intended. But in order to make this transfer I need to raise $270 for the software. I don't know if this feature would be important to a lot of you or not, but it's a possibility.

So far this is all I have. Not a whole lot of changes, but they are coming... most likely within the next two weeks depending on how fast I can get the work done. I'll update this post with any other updates as needed.

The new site is coming, likely tonight. It's not a huge overhaul but it will look slightly different. Just to forewarn you all, there may be some busted links, or links that point to the wrong item. These will be fixed, but it may take some time.

By the way folks, there are still some issues with informational links on the downloads page. They are referencing 1980s.html, 1990s.html and 2000s.html files which no longer exist. I still need to sit down and update all of those links. If you see other busted links not associated with that page, please let me know. Some of the old news archive pages could potentially also be out of whack.
